パンジープロジェクト2026 ― 口腔癌レクチャーチーム 始動✨
昨夜、パンジープロジェクト2026で実施予定の「口腔癌レクチャー」についての実行委員会を開催しました。
今回は、レクチャーの概要やスライド構成などについて話し合うことができました👍
パラオは『ベテルナッツ』を噛む習慣がある国家です🇵🇼
この習慣は、喫煙や飲酒と共に口腔癌のリスクを上げる因子であると言われており、パラオの口腔癌の発症率を高めていると言われています。
このレクチャーを通して、パラオの医療従事者の知識をボトムアップし、早期発見や予防に繋げていくのが目的です☝️
近年、パンジープロジェクトに多くの口腔外科の先生方が関わってくださるようになりました。そういった皆さんのスペシャリティを、パラオの健康な未来に繋げていくことができればと思います。
気づけば、活動まであと４ヶ月です😆
今年も、例年以上に充実した活動にしていきたいと思います！

Last night, we held a committee meeting to plan the Oral Cancer Lecture scheduled for Pansy Project 2026.
During the meeting, we discussed the overall structure of the lecture, key topics to cover, and the organization of the presentation slides 👍
Palau is a country where chewing betel nut is a common cultural practice 🇵🇼
This habit, together with smoking and alcohol consumption, is known to increase the risk of oral cancer. It is considered one of the factors contributing to the higher incidence of oral cancer in Palau.
Through this lecture, our goal is to help strengthen the knowledge of healthcare professionals in Palau and contribute to early detection and prevention of oral cancer ☝️
In recent years, many oral and maxillofacial surgeons have joined and supported the Pansy Project. We sincerely hope that their expertise can help build a healthier future for Palau.
Before we know it, the project is only four months away 😆
We are determined to make this year’s activities even more meaningful and impactful than ever.
